One day after work I was at a friend's apartment in the same compound as Pro Flex. I got a call from Uche, when I answered she was sort of crying and you could tell she was upset. She just said "they wrecked my car!" My heart jumped into my throat at word that she had been in an accident and asked where she was. She was just past the Civic Center heading towards the bridge. Traffic was bad and I needed/wanted to get to her so I took off running down Ozumba Mbadiwe as fast as I could. I got there in record time and she got out of her car and WOW...she looked beautiful that day. After I told her that she looked pretty I looked at her car and asked where the damage was. She reached inside and pulled her side mirror out from INSIDE her car...the mirror had been torn off and the mirror was broken. I was so happy and so mad! I went running down the road like a mad man thinking she had been seriously injured. None the less she wasn't hurt so that's all I cared about...I put her in her car and told her I'd would take care of her car tomorrow. Nkem, I would run down the road like a mad man for you any day.
