A Dear Colleague Moves On

Uche and I joined the same copmpany at about same time. The first time I saw her, I felt, 'wow, what elegance'. I admired her from my distance, saying hello to her as often as the opportuinity presented itself. I always thought to myself that 'this lady is so beautiful', indeed, Uche was and is still the most beautiful lady I had ever met. Recall a course we attended together at a time and how I would drop her off after the course. Uche would say 'thank you' a million times and I would wonder 'for what, it is a pleasure riding with you'. She was very polite. We heard about the diagnosis and prayed that it would turn out right. After a long period of absence, I was happy to see her again at the 2012 Walk for Charity. I thanked God and hoped she was back to stay. But I was wrong. The news of her demise came as shock but we know it is better to rest than be in pains. Sleep on dear colleague, rest on Uche Orizu. We respect you.
